I am sceptical of the quality of 60 minutes of digital video on 256mb SD card. The digital zoom is pretty well useless too, far far better is optical. I much rather TBH go for a old analogue camcorder which is just as cheap these days or a DV camera which costs £200+
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
moving to Shop but don't drop - this is not really a Grabbit bargain as it can be found cheaper elsewhere0

Cheers ace,
I didn`t set out to find one cheaper (honest) but now thinking of buying one. Thanks for brining it to my attention. I was looking for reviews but only found one user review on google and it got 8/10. There are some empire codes out there so might be even cheaper still there , gonna look into it.
Shrek, do you really think its no good? It`s cheap enough and SD cards are cheap now so recording time not an issue. I realise the qualitys not gonna be as good as the top of the range sonys but do you think it will be ok for filming mates at the pub, monkeys at the zoo etc? I like the small size and the small price. At the mo Im using a nokia 3220 for pics/videos so its gotta be an upgrade.
A question , when the SD card is full I copy this to my hard drive then I can burn this to DVD disc but can it be burnt ( say using nero) as a DVD or does the format stay as MP4? If it stays as MP4 will my dvd player play this? My DVD player plays "back ups" ,MP3 but not sure about MP4.
Thanks

if your DVD player plays MP4 then it should play it, otherwise you can convert the movie to formats that your dvd player can playWhere is the pub? :beer:0 -
You can buy a similar video camera on bid tv or price drop tv for far less than this amount. When I was watching yesterday a very similar one went for £82 which included 9 software packs and a 256mb card!! I know where i would buy one if i didnt already have one.0

I bought my brand new NISIS camera/camcorder on Ebay for a total cost of £59 as nobody bidded on it except for me. At the same time I bought a 256mb card on Ebay for only £18 brand new.I was very lucky as both normally go for £100 plus.0

Hi All,
Me again. I just phoned Aldi and they get them in Thursday. If it is "not suitable" I can take it back , so that seems fair enough.
Think I will get one and have a play.
