No wages for 3 weeks

I finish my job on the 26th and get paid on the 27th which is fine.my new jobs start date got moved from the 29th may to the 16th June so for that period of time I won't be earning which is what concerns me.

  • You need to do a statement of accounts, showing what you spend on a monthly basis so that you can figure out what is essential to be paid whilst not earning :)

    go claim jobseekers allowance? You can say you are looking for temp work for the 2 weeks? Better than nothing and you might get some temp work too?

    I second the JSA point. You are unemployed for that period and thus should be able to get some support. This is exactly what the benefit system should be used for.
    Debt free, moved, got new stuff for the new flat - got everything I wanted and need - now just saving.
