Mortgage offer and electoral roll

We received our mortgage offer from Halifax last Thursday but unfortunatelywe had to move out of our rented accommodation last Sunday.
We're currently staying with the in-laws but we haven't called the localcouncil to have our records updated.
Would it affect our mortgage offer if I was to call the local council tohave them update their records to show that we're no longer living at our previousaddress?
