Does anyone have one? I've had one for about 2 months now, and absolutely love it! I aim to get 10,000 steps a day but want to increase it to 15,000. I need more friends though, so let me know if you're on the site

Their customer service is fantastic too by the way. Google for "fitbit" and "washing machine" there will be stories of free replacements amongst the 'how to fix' stories, cannot fault them at all.
Not that it happened to me....ahem. :embarasse0 -
I have one. I put mine through the washing machine a few weeks ago, unfortunately. Well, OH did.
It still had some signs of life, but wasn't working properly and didn't do anything at all when I removed it from the stand. I emailed customer services, who told me the process they thought would fix it. Nothing, and it's stopped working completely since.
It's a shame. I didn't use it as I should in the end, though. At first I found it very motivating and put all my food and exercise in the log, but over time I just ended up using it as an ordinary pedometer checking steps and mileage, and also paying attention to flights of stairs. I only plugged it in to charge, and completely stopped using the Fitbit site, so I won't get another.0 -
I have a Fitbit Flex and the thing is great !
Very motivating and has got me walking everywhere !Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.0 -
I have friends who are waxing lyrical about fit bit at the moment but I'm not sure it's for me: they are both self-confessed geeks but I am not very systematic about....well...anything really.
It might be another of those pieces of kit I get instead of doing what I need to do (please see garage full of fitness equipment).
That being said, you can pick up ones on ebay for a bit less than usual so I am tempted!;)'...it is only kindness that makes sense anymore ' Naomi Shihab Nye0
