New joint bank account

I'm getting married soon. Myself and my fiancee will be looking at setting up a joint bank account. Anyone got any suggests of good banks for this? We live in the north of Scotland, so banks are limited! :)

Thanks!

The best joint account is no different from the best single account: Best Bank Accounts

I guess your credit histories are equally good or bad, so that a financial association that you are going to create will do no harm to any of you. There is no anything a joint account can do that a single one cannot.

If there is two of you who want to use a single account, then a joint account does have its advantages - e.g. both can legally log into the account, both have a debit card each, etc.
However, the actual functions (SOs, DDs, FPs etc) are just the same as on a single account.

Santander 123 may be worth a look especially as a joint account as there would only be one account fee (£2 monthly) but you would both receive cashback for your combined bills
