Charging order advice

I am hoping someone can advise best route.
My parents has a CCJ against them in the 1990s, two years ago the debt was brought and they were taken to court over the £12000 they owed and a charging order was put on the house, as my mum is disabled and cannot move around due to a lung condition, they could not enforce the sale, but with the win etc the costs are now £22000.
They are now chasing again and threatening court action. My parents went to solicitors again and they said best cause of action would be to try equity release and pay the debt off as no mortgage on the house and they only have £5 per month free once a expenditure sheet was done.
I am unsure this would be the best option, me and the family could raised maybe upto £8K , i was wondering if its possible to try offering a full and final payment to see if we could get the debt cleared and the charging order lifted. I dont think the court would force my parents to sell due to my mums health as she had doctors notes etc last time they went, but if they keep taking to court and the charges keep going on it will increase the debt and also its not helping my mums health . This is why i was thinking they may accept a F & F. If It is possible is there a template ?
sorry for poor grammar and spelling i suffer from dyslexia so trying my best to make this make sense.
Many Thanks in advance for any advice

Might not accept as they have a CCJ and charging order. But they might if they realise they can't get a sale.
Maybe talk to a debt charity?:beer:0
