Capitalisation - Birmingham Midshires fees

I posted this in the Reclaiming your charges forum too, but wondered if anyone else in here would know the answer

Just received my list of charges from a mortgage I had with Birmingham Midshires. The fees they charge for late payments and reversal of direct debits are called "Assesment fees" which they explained in their letter. However, after every assesment fee there is another "capitalisation" of the exact same amount.
Can anyone explain what this is and whether I can claim that amount.
