hi new to this please be kind i am looking for some advice on
I am trying to sort my debts out I bank with Barclays and I have a 1890 overdraft with them I also have a reserve fee of 150 which I have recently been slipping into which has resulted in charges I also have a loan with Barclays for 5800 which I pay 173 a month I have a 975 owing on a Halifax credit card which I pay 20.00 a month off .after looking at a few different money sites I have read that you shouldn't bank where you have debts so to try and get myself organised and budget and try to start making a dent in these debts I have opened a basic current account at Lloyds with no overdraft to pay my wages and tax credits into and to use for daily living also in am going to change my regular direct debits/bills to come out of the Lloyds account. all that is left going into the Barclays account is 250.00 a month but i have also left the loan coming out of the Barclays account so after interest charges and fee on overdraft and the loan payment it leaves 50.00 a month coming off overdraft i'm now worrying I've done the wrong thing and gone completely the wrong way about this and Barclays are going to demand full payment of overdraft as not much going in each month sorry for waffling on worried and unsure what i'm doing please help thanks

Is £173 a month the minimum payment you can make on the loan or are you overpaying it?
If Barclays do demand the whole amount back you'll just have to try to agree a repayment plan with them and hopefully they'll agree to freeze the interest. For now just keep doing what you're doing, but if you can pay less than the loan and more on the overdraft, that would be helpful. What will your verse be?
