3 Year work history?

Hello,

Currently have an application in and have been asked by my broker for 3 years work history?

My question is - How do I prove this? The company I worked for no longer exists. It was 2 years ago and I have changed bank since and as such have no statements showing money going in etc?

I have payslips for the past 17 months of employment and my p60 for the past 12 months.

However I disposed of any previous payslips prior to my current employment (17 months)

Just tell them the company you worked for is no longer trading, it happens.
And find out if you can get duplicate copies of your old bank statements from your previous bank. Also, you could ask HMRC to send you a letter confirming that you were in employment, I needed a letter from them because there was a mix up with something to do with a benefit I was on at the time and my national insurance contributions were missed for a month and they sent me a letter to pass on to the DWP.

I shall do that, What happens if im unable to obtain these?

How are they going to check otherwise?
