Pensions and JSA

Hi
I was made redundant in November 2012. I have taken my private pension through work which is £10000 yearly with my lump sum of £75000 and redundancy of £32000, of which I have about £50000 in savings after paying off my mortgage.
I am only 56 and I need to get back into work. I am a single mother with 17 year old son going to University next year. I am going to look for jobs soon.
Will I qualify for any JSA or any other benefit at all? I have no other income live by myself so this will be it as they say. Thank you very much. Sorry if in the wrong forum.

You would have, had you clained it in Nov 2012. Not sure you can now. Thei first bit of JSA is not means tested, later it is and you would probably be over all limits.
How much annual pension did you give up for that 75000?0 -
The amount of contribution-based JSA that you get is cut pound for pound for any occupational pension that is over £50 a week.
Sorry, but as you receive a pension of £10,000 pa, this would reduce any JSA entitlement to zero.0
