    Well said, too many people forget the value of a property is what someone else will pay for it, not some hypothetical figure the owner imagines it to be worth.

    Thanks everybody for your help and sorry for my lack of knowledge.

    What should I do to increase my chances of getting any type of loan in the near future?

    I just sent my application to the electoral register. Should I get a credit card rather than a debit card?

    Any ideas?

    Fair point. I should have said that their market value is much less than their market value of three years ago.
    I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
