I keep seeing ads for relief on stamp duty/mortgage application fees for FTBs...

Is there anything similar for the last generation of FTBs who are in negative equity!!

We've just sold our house at a loss... and having saved up a new deposit its pretty gutting to realise we arent even on a level par with todays FTBs!

Annoyingly enough, when we bought in 2008 we bought jointly... could we legally buy the house in someone elses name!!

"legally buy the house in someone elses name"

read that sentence again and again.... it will give you a hint to your answer.

    1. you mean you provide fake names and buy the house? : It is not legal
    2. you mean someone else buys the house on your behalf: it will not legally be your house
