I think it is a default assumption people make without thinking too much more about it - once they are aware of the CRA's offering a so-called 'credit score'. Then they get sucked in by the stuff on the CRA site about monitoring the score and working to 'improve' it.
I'm expecting the OP fo reply along these lines. There's one CRA in particular who are suckering people in with this. There needs to be far more transparency over what they offer and that their credit score is practically meaningless in the real financial world.0 -
And also the fact that a certain CRA is selling you a "score" but also an insurance product.Been there, done that and Ebay'd the t shirt. :beer:0
