It depends on the last two digits of your NI number.
    • 00 and 19 payday is Monday
    • 20 and 39 payday is Tuesday
    • 40 and 59 payday is Wednesday
    • 60 and 79 payday is Thursday
    • 80 and 99 payday is Friday
As yours is 66, your payday is a Thursday. Your pension commenced on the 10th, which was a Friday, so your next payday is the 16th.

  • thank you. I asked for it 4 weekly so is that still the case?

payments will normally be made a minimum of fortnightly in arrears
    (taken from www.parliament.uk/briefing-papers/SN00260.pdf),
I believe four-weekly in arrears is common.

Ah, I didn't realise they'd stopped weekly payments. I guess it reduces the queues at post offices!

they haven't, they don't offer it weekly unless it has been requested, the norm is 4 weekly now rather than the other way around

if you look on your original award notice, it will tell you when your first payment is made, it can either be between one and four weeks depending on which cycle you are in and it should also give you the date your second payment is, you then just calculate your next payment from that

I found that table in a few places, but applied to pension credits and benefits. I've found the pension one before but can't track it down now. I thought it was the same but might well be wrong.
