There are no funds - it is a scam. If you pay the £196, there will suddenly be another fee that needs to be paid.
Contact his card company, that is your only hope - if they can't help then you have no chance of getting the money back.0 -

There is no loan, they will continue demanding money for as long as you will carry on giving it to them.
Google their address for goodness sake, it is a street of houses in Swansea, the only business anywhere near is a Chiropodist.
This scammer will NOT be giving any refunds to you.0 -

Tell him to go to his bank for a loan and not follow google, it's results are full of scams.0

It wont be a company as such, more like a fraudster sitting in his bedroom or internet cafe with a big smile on his face today

Does he actually know who he has paid the money to? Is there anything on his bank account with a name?
Judging by the number of texts and emails I've had from various lenders and brokers in the last couple of hours saying that "Mr !!!!!! Cheese" has a guaranteed loan and to go to their site or call them it could be any one.0 -
According to their website they have a consumer credit license (640093), this means that they are either regulated (try contacting the office of fair trading), or if they are not its fraud.0
-
Just checked, their credit license checks out, therefore they are registered, and must therefore comply with the Consumer Credit Act of 1974. I suggest you get your son to write to them at their head office, saying you are not happy and are requesting details of all charges etc. If they don't respond, or you think they are not complying with the act, take it up with the regulator.0
