Dyson or which cleaner?

I am looking for a new cleaner, have always used Dyson but now find them too heavy for me to haul around the house.
I want something lighter, but just as efficient.
Any recommendations?

I love Henry hoovers, you can get these light weight Dysons but they fill up quick.

As expensive as Dyson but light - my MIL has one & it seems good:

You can find these on QVC shopping channel, amongst other places and - if you have a "which" account or know someone who has - they have reviewed them.0 -
I love my little VAC hoover. really light, great suction, just a little noisy. Good value too, i'd explore their range

What about the Dyson DC 24? It's much smaller and lighter than the regular Dyson but no less powerful. You have to empty the bin a bit more often and it isn't quite as wide so may take a minute longer to Hoover a room, but its much lighter than the normal Dysons. I have a shoulder problem and can carry this one around, even upstairs, with no bother at all. We got ours from the Dyson eBay outlet with 2 years warranty for £170.0

Henry every time, This is why Builders use them. Best little workhorses there are, Ive had mine for 10 years and its brilliant.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Depends what you like I prefer uprights and I have used both. Dyson do a light one because my nan has one.
I love my Bissell and its quite light, it only cost me £40 from Asda but its the best hoover I've had and I've had it years.
These are the reviews on Asda http://reviews.asda.com/1440-en_gb/001545318/bissell-powerforce-bagless-vacuum-cleaner-reviews/reviews.htm
I can't seem to find them anywhere now but the newer model is only £34.99 reconditioned on Bissell and about £80 at other places new.
