Sorry to bump my own thread, but can anyone else who has won from the same group of companies advise how long prizes took to arrive?

The email specifies 28 days before contacting them with any problems, so I thought I'd quiz MSErs before going down that route.

I won from the Look dailies a couple of months ago and the prize only took a week to arrive, but although that was IPC, it wasn't one of the ones that were spread across the magazines it was a comp specifically from Look.

I've found that they're either really quick (within a few days) or really slow. I've had to chase quite a few up - I usually do so straight after the 28 days but I'm sure some wait longer.

How long is a piece of string ? they are not terribly quick in sending out the prizes. I usually wait till near the deadline then send out a gentle reminder, i.e re-sending my details incase you did not receive them the first time. Remember to copy prize details into e.mail. This usually does the trick.

I won from Woman mag once and chased the prize after waiting for six weeks. They apologised and said there had been a problem with the supplier and I received the prize within days. Good luck.
Feb wins: Angry Birds mug, £250 Perfume Shop bundle :D

Earlier in the month I won a camera on a Thursday, spoke to a lady from Panasonic later that today and then the prize was delivered to work on the Monday morning.

I also won a chocolate hamper with IPC and it was delivered within a week

Well done, this is the normal route but remember to check if you replied to all in the e-mail as they usually copy the promoter in. Your prize may also be late (two of my three IPC wins were late) and if so e-mail the promoter rather than IPC directly.
  • Congrats - fab win!! :T

Top wins - Florida holiday, North Carolina holiday, Sky TV for a year, wine for a year

Thanks to all who post and good luck to everyone!!:rotfl:
