Discharged; can i use old bank accounts again?

Hi sorry if this is a daft question but i did a search and could not fin much, i was discharged in march this year and am currently going about sorting my situation out cleaning it up etc
In april i received a new card from HBOS as the old one had expired these were one of the creditors and i think there is a 0.02p balance in the current account i held before br, what would happen if i tried to use this account again?
I only ask as it would be so much more convenient for me for banking compared to co-op as i have a branch within walking distance of home and co-op have not been the best of banking experiences so far.
I have no access to co-op online as i have had money stolen from the account twice in the year i have been with them and they now think my account is a target, everytime i try to log in i am frozen out as there have been attempts at passwords security questions not from myself but obviously putting a stop on the online account.
I then need to call up and prove who i am just to get the block removed.
The other question would be with regards to the old santander joint account i held with my husband, they were not one of the creditors and we held a basic joint account with no overdraft however when the br happened they froze the account until i removed myself and let my husband continue to use the account after.
How likely are they to let me use that account again?

I had this after my bankruptcy. When I declared BR I had an account with HSBC. It was dormant with only about three pounds in it - so it did not occur to me to tell the OR about it, I thought it would simply be closed down. It seems that it wasn`t. I received statements from them from time to time.
Six years after my BR, when it was finally removed from my credit history , I tried to start using it again - it was still an open account.
They refused, they said that I no longer met their criteria.
I am still receiving statements from them, the account is still technically open - but there is no way they will let me use it.
It is worth trying - but I doubt that you will get far. Good luck though.0
