Ikea family card - points

Anyone know if you get points or cashback if you spend a few hundred in Ikea. The Monysavingexpert site link mentions "25% off" but doesn't say much else. When I search these forums all I find is references to free tea and coffee. So, are there any good deals apart from a cuppa if you are going to be spending a lot there?

received mine yest, tea and coffee and cheap breakfasts weekdays only disappointingly as ikea miles away and visit rarely. I think (but haven't got leaflet handy) discounts are on selected items only.0

When you go to Ikea some items have two prices, and Ikea Family price and a non Ikea family price. Obviously if you have the card you pay the lower Ikea Family price.
They sometimes also email you money off vouchers based on your previous spend using the card but I don't think this is linked to claiming points.0 -

I've never had money off vouchersAll I tend to get are emails asking me to rate my purchases, usually one a week or so after I've been and another a few months later.

I have had vouchers like £10 off when I spend £60 and it said I have been given it based on my spend in Ikea over the last few months (which wouldn't have been a lot £150 max). I've not been to Ikea for a while though so they might have stopped it now.0 -
Hmmmm, doesn't see to be very good then. I suppose I can ge a free tea or coffee, but their coffee tastes like tar anyway. I might spend a thousand quid there in the next few weeks and the family card will do nothing for me - great.0

I used my free family card yesterday on assorted small items incl a duvet cover and didn't get any discount. However its free so you might as well apply for it, even if you don't get discount on your massive spend you might get vouchers later on? and theres always a chance that you will get some discount, would recommend you apply as its free and you never know.l0

The card doesn't accrue points, nor does it reward you with "surprise" discounts at the till.
As said earlier, there are always offers running in store offering reduced prices to members, these change regularly. You are also entitled to a free drink if you visit on week days, and they mail out vouchers from time to time too.
I would agree the scheme is disappointing. Don't look to compare it to Nectar or Clubcard which reward you for the more you spend. I bought a £3500 kitchen, and saw no reward or payback for doing so.0 -
