Maybe I'm being a twit over this, making something out of nothing or over-zealous here but I've realised something over time and apparent on a great many of job websites. So it isn't an isolated thing and just personal opinion here but I find it pretty annoying.
I've realised a lot of job advertisements are basically spam or people peddling their business. Or they are so generic and actually tell you nothing really about the actual vacancy.
For example, I seach 'fitness instructor' which is what I used to do and I very rarely actually find 'fitness instructor job x miles away'. It's always instead, crap like 'Become a personal trainer! The UK's Leading Training Agency!'... Sorry but that's not a job. That's someone peddling their training company which most of the time involves a cost and isn't a guaranteed placement at the end.
I basically find this for a lot of job searches and I find it more of a nuisance than a help, sifting through spam, to find proper vacancies and there is so much of it now.
Another thing, when I mentioned generic spam. I find sites like gumtree which is sometimes a really useful: 'Your new career awaits!' spiel. 'Hours to suite!', 'Earn blah blah blah!' and I finish and I am like...SO !!!!!! IS THE F'KING JOB!?' Literally, these posts do not explicitly state anything past key word phrases and it feels like they just want you to call a number.
Okay, there it is.
