Sofa for small flat

Hello lovely MSErs

I'm looking for places where I can buy a couple of small sofas for my flat. At the moment I have two large threadbare John Lewis sofas that dominate the space.

I had a look at bo concept and liked them a lot but they are quite pricy.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, only cheap ones. Like the Ikea Ektorps, which are small. Why not do what I am doing and get one three seater, and an Ikea Poang chair. I guess it depends how many people you have living with you.

You could design your own one on Nabru? The prices aren't bad, but I haven't had mine for long enough yet to say how well they last.

You have to assemble the Nabru ones yourself don't you. I was put off by an assembly guide on the net where the guy put it altogether but then found the cushions were liable to slip forward and he had to push them back every few days. He wasn't writing a negative review or anything. He just mentioned it.

Dont forget to check your access route. I ended up getting the Ikea Ektorp sofas for my first floor flat as they come 'flat-packed' and were the only ones that would fit through the hallway.

I live in a very small flat and spent weeks looking for a couple of small sofa's. I found a pair just the right size in DFS. Navy blue leather 2 seater and 3 seater. Fits just great so try there.:)

  • I have an Ektorp 2 seater, I like the depth of the seat and picked it for our one-bed flat due to it being the most comfy in ikea. Bit of a surprise when it was delivered and was quite hard but has softened up, although the seat cushions I find aren't looking as full. Removable washable covers are handy. Maybe it was a little bit overpriced?

Sorry for late response - had forgotten my log-in details.

Much appreciate the responses. We have ended up going to the Futon Company which, although not small in size, should fit the space well.
