Natwest has refused F&F settlement

I made an offer to Natwest of a f&f settlement on both my overdraft & loan account telling them that I will shortly be leaving the country (maybe they think I'm calling their bluff?) & that a friend in Germany was willing to pay part of my debt as "f&f".
They've just written back flatly refusing the offer, no counter-offer AND said that they will now hand it over to Credit Management Services (CMS) but that the process & more letters to follow will take a further 6 weeks. Then CMS will request full financials, etc. & arrange payment plan. Interest will continue to accrue.
I am still waiting to hear back from Natwest Credit Card & BarclayCard. To be honest, I am expecting them both to decline the offers made too.
I plan on leaving the country end August. I have not given them any indication on a leaving date...just that I am leaving. What is likely to happen from here?
