I have been in a debt mangement plan for two years, paying as much as I can monthly through payplan. I have never missed a payment.
I have just reeceived a letter from DL&C telling me that I have failed to maintain acceptable payments and they are therefore going to get a County Court Judgement against me and put a charge on my house.
I called them to attempt to discuss it but they insisted they were going to take legal action.
I'm scared and upset that it has come to this and would appreciate any advice on offer.
Thanks

have you contacted payplan and told them about the situation?0

I'm trying to at the moment.0

If you can prove the payments are up to date, write to them saying you are happy to go to court and show the judge and you look forward to receiving the Summons.0

I'd hand it over to Payplan and have them deal with it. Do you have a letter from them when you set up the payment plan, saying they were happy with the payments being offered? If so, well, then you have been making acceptable payments!0
