BHS Bath - £10 Wedding/bridesmaid dresses & £5 shoes

Options
This might only be in the Bath store, but BHS have all remaining wedding & bridesmaids dresses for £10, and shoes for £5.

There were probably about 15 wedding dresses, some of which looked fine but some had dirty marks on, and maybe 25 or so bridesmaids dresses (a couple of older girls' but mainly adult sizes) in all colours - pale blue, purple, bright pink, claret from what I remember.

Shoes included strappy sandals in pale pink, sage green, and dark green and lots of different ivory bridal shoes.

They're in the basement near the customer services desk.

Wish I had a wedding to either go to or be bride at (am seriously considering joining the 'Those waiting for proposal' thread!)

Hope that helps someone locally, and it might be worth looking in other BHS's if you're passing...

So I had to go back to BHS today (to collect my online order that hadn't arrived yesterday)...and all of the sale items were now Blue Cross with another 20% off.

Well I couldn't help myself at this point, and thought I might as well try a few on as I could always dye them to be evening/cocktail dresses. Unfortunately none of the bridesmaids dresses were in my size but I ended up buying this dress - for £8 (was £120)!!

And got the shoes for £4

Showed OH (10 year anniversary coming up in November, so you never know what he might have planned....) but told him I couldn't wear it for our actual (hypothetical) wedding as he's now seen it, but I could always have it as a spare for if we wanted to some silly outdoorsy photos with the dog or something, or as I said dye it to wear for an evening do. Bit worried he thinks I'm a crazy person now, but I couldn't leave them when they were such a bargain!

They also had lots of satin bustiers for £2 (so £1.60 with blue x discount), but no matching skirts as far as I could see.

What a bargain!! That dress is stunning!!!!!!!! If by any miracle you happen to be going back to that BHS and don't mind a cheeky request from a stranger, can you grab me one in a size 8 (or any other cheap wedding dress!) and I'll send you the money?

Those shoes are gorgeous too, don't worry about OH thinking you are a crazy person - if you weren't he probably wouldn't have been with you for 10 years hehe x
