Signing on date next week but unable to make it

Ive signed up to 2 agencies in the past 2 weeks and next week im at a college for 4 days to do a food and hygiene course in order for me to get a start at a job close to me. im there for 4 days 9am-3pm and my sign on date is wednesday at 10:45am and am unable to make it.
do i ring the job centre now and tell them or what do i do? some help would be appreciated thank you.

Has the JCP authorised/ arranged this course? You need to advise the JCP that you are not able to sign on at the relevant time (as soon as possible), but also that you are not available for work. If the course has been agreed with them you will have no problem, they'll probably tell you may to come in after 3pm that day. If not, you need to get their agreement so they do not close your claim for the days you are unavailable.0
