No I didnt think the paper work would be worth it .I Used th Revs calculator and it said I would get about £138. I Shouldn't sniff at it I know but it unfortunately not life changing.

    Thanks

That would about pay for half of your monthly general expenses bill and you're (or your young'un anyways) is entitled to it - would apply for it ASAP myself. Little measures and all that ...

But £138 is better in your pocket than the government's. It may not give you a lot more to play with, but it is something. In your situation all these little bits and peices all add up to something bigger. Saving money here and there, and adding a little bit of extra income somewhere else all adds up.

    I would apply right now.

    Hi BoltonMinx

From The revs site I got the impression £138 was for the year not per month.
I will check this again though.

    Thank you

There is another site you can check... entitledto. something. I should know all these websites by now, but the general concensus on the boards is that it is much better at working out what you are actually entitled to.

Yup that's the one. I'm having an 'afternoon moment' of temporary insanity.

Could you explain the following a bit further:

    Housekeeping/Food etc £325
    Day to Day Money £325

How many people are you feeding? And what is 'Day to Day Money?

Are these things something you could cut back on, or do they include regular payments for other things not on the list (Building & Contents insurance, petrol etc.)
How many adults/children does your income/expenditure cover? If you have a partner what income do they have? How old are any children?
    Torgwen.......... :) ...........
