Got some of the £1.59 olive oil for 59p with the coupon. Persil again£6.50 which compared at A at £3.33. Made the mistake of putting a packet of OXO crisps in my basket using a 50p off voucher and they took 33p off my shop. PP for £9.
All in all a successful evening:j:j
Pleased for you TM. Noticed in an earlier post that you'd been handling some meat...good excuse that you were looking for unmarked joints but some of us know better;);)Awaiting a new sig0 -

I think I'll do the samethey are good for listing items at a higher starting price. Im too chicken to put some of the more expensive stuff on at 99p and hope it goes past that. I haven't totted up what I've made so far ( this year ) for about a month but it can't be far off £1000 :T:T.....that probably means I spent about 5 times that amount buying the stuff in the first place
:o...when I was bad

Absolute idiot! Not you Locarr, the twitterer!)
On the subject of stopping, not condoning it, but sometimes it isnt that easy, 2 examples.... I was once in a taxi and we saw a cat get hit, so I made the taxi stop, and went to the house where the cat had ran, rang the bell and informed the lady that her cat had been knocked over, and ran into her back garden. It was probably shock, but she went off it, shouting at me for knocking down her cat.
I still feel really guilty for that, even though it was ages ago, and I was only wanting to help, but if it meant the cat got to a vet quicker, I can live with the guilt.
Another experience, which I hope no one else experiences, was a few years ago, I managed to knock my own cat over (she was very old, and asleep under the car, and never moved in time) and I could not catch her to get her to the vets, as she ran away.
I never managed to get her till about 6 hours later, as whenever I went to him, he went further away, so in the end I had to leave him, as I didnt want to push him further away from his home, where he would get lost. Horrible time for me.
What I mean by that, is sometimes people want to stop, but the cat might have ran away before they got the chance, which to be honest, could sometimes be the best thing for the cat. Just saying, I can see both sides.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I'd like to say a big thanks to those who recently gave me advise on my Dell Inspiron M5030, which I'd only had for 18 months.
I was going to buy a new laptop and asked for advice on here about whether I should buy a laptop or tablet.
However, thanks to Enterprise 1701, locarr and David. who said this should'nt happen after 18 months and David pointed me in the direction of a Dell Forum where hundreds had the same problem in the same time frame.
I contacted Dell, who replaced my motherboard, LED screen and hard drive for free!
So thank you all on here, you have saved me a fortune, and my laptop is like new again:beer:
All power to the people. Congrats on getting the service you deserved :T:T:TLove your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
