Sarah, I am so sorry to hear about Harry. I always fear the worst when mine goes missing for a day or so. Don't dwell on the last couple of days because he is out of pain right now and will be getting the best of care.
I am a great cat lover too and I have mixed feelings about the 3 legged debate for an outdoor cat. I would worry about him not being able to make a quick getaway from a dog or a run across a road quick enough to avoid a car. But I don't know all the facts. I'm sure your vet will give you the very best advice. It's good to hear FC's experience too.Thinking of you:ATo do is to be. Rousseau

You will pleased to know that the penny has dropped. I now understand DTD.
It only made sense tonight in T when I went over to look why loads of very large joints of pork and legs of lamb had yellow stickers on. I thought at first they were whoopsied. Then I saw that the stickers were covering up an incorrect price on the meat. I then threw myself nearly literally into the back of the chillers to try and find some incorrectly priced joints that had not been yellow stickered. Without success:o

Just worried, if he has to have it amputated, how he will get on with 3 legs, I know the vet said they accommodate really well, but he is very much an outdoors cat and I wouldnt want it to hinder his ability.
I just feel awful that I didnt spot him sooner, not that it would have made any difference really, just that he has been in pain for 2 days.
Sending (((hugs)))0 -
