    Talking of washing

Only 14 persil liquitabs left

They have ONLY lasted about 18-20 months if I remember right, must put more effort in next time :o

Come on liquitabs are much easier than liquid to use :D we need a coupon :T

Morning. I've been MIA yet again. Mega busy as packing for Las Vegas!! Sis went on Tuesday, brother flies in an hour and I go tomorrow (but going to gatwick tonight when kids are in bed). The wedding is Monday 😄 Mum flew back from Spain yesterday and is en route to me as she is having the ankle biters.

4 weeks ago i got a £650 gas bill and its not been on since:mad:

I got an email yesterday saying my direct debit for gas/electric would be going up to nearly £400 a month and they would start on tuesday :(
I rang them and told them off for not honouring the direct debit guarantee (10 working days notice) and advised them that I use practically nothing in the summer months and they would just have to wait until the current dd cleared the bill (£200 per month).
Made me late for work as they held me in a queue for nearly half an hour as they had sent about ten thousand of these emails overnight.

Absolutely TM couldn't agree with you more :( - was cooking late tea (after school activity) , TV on in living room on BBC1 - she'd been watching pointless and ended up with traumatised 9 year old - they seem to think the 9pm watershed doesn't apply to the news:eek:. She seen mobile phone footage with killer and his red hands and machete before I could switch it off (and the pools of blood under tree!).

Noticed later that Sky TV were using a still only and had taken that editorial decision, still bad enough - but not the Beeb:eek: So more sanitized for the adults later.... This need to put stuff on just because its out there on social networks already not good .............................. Especially playing out in real time - that poor soldier's family.

Totally agree Morgy - and I am an adult. It was an appalling thing to happen but to show it in such graphic detail was irresponsible in my opinion.

Has anyone done a Sainsbob 25% off wine shop and used a CS voucher?
Any idea whether the voucher would see the total before the 25% comes off or after?

I've got the car today so going to go to Sainsbobs and see if it's worth spending my £9 off £60 and £4.50 off £35 vouchers. Need some birthday presents so will see if there is anything suitable to get me up to the £60 spend once I have got 2x 24 packs of coke and possibly some wine.
    x

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!
