    A v M

    1 x Honey Monster Foods Sugar Puffs (450g) £1.50 £1.07

    M v W £1.07 £2.80

Good!:) My 'glitch' shop should have at least one successful glitch then, receipt entry due 8.15pm.

Folks, I'm just moving some McDougall's Steak Pie away from the M cheaper list (M on 'half price' at £1.57), and onto Avs M, as I noticed A has a 600g McDougalls Deep Filled Steak Pie. Not often that I like it when pack sizes decrease - I think the 'Family' Steak Pie has gone from 700g to 680g and now to 650g. Given the amount of fat usually in pies of this type, and it's also still quite a large pie for a smaller 'family', I'm pleased that M is now within 10% weight range and that I can now buy a smaller pie - 600g - from A and compare to an adjusted price somewhat less than £1.75 (and 10% off).

It may well come back N/A on the APG for now. I could be wrong as they have picked up these sorts of things before, where I'd thought my comparing was a bit too clever, but if not (if it does come back with N/A) I will, when I put it on my next M comparison in a week or two's time, certainly draw it to their notice so that it can be corrected albeit not immediately.

    For your information:

    Thanks.

...None of which are, in my view, any good value even on 10% less than the M prices. I could go on and on:D,... but the Nutella at 10% off £1.89 would be way too expensive compared to the low that the equiv. of the A CBY version once reached in M. Sadly, ever since that offer went ages ago, even the SP/Savers price on the Chocolate Spreads has been far too expensive per gram for me. Schwartz Mix wrong one - why don't they buy the non-comp. version straight from M at 50p?:( (And it's 10g more:rotfl:.) (Don't answer that last question folks, may well not have an M nearby them. Don't forget, if you have at least one A available to you, you can do comps. in A vs M no matter how far you are away from an M, unless you're in Northern Ireland.)

I have lurked for quite awhile reading this thread and am sad to see that people have ganged against someone and made them feel so bad that they have gone into exile - death is a part of life, alas it is the one sure thing that happens to all of us. I have said goodbye to both of my parents and am all too aware of this grief and I have not been offended by any posts.

I feel quite ashamed and saddened reading this thread today.

I certainly don't think people 'ganged up' on someone, we expressed our point of view that we were upset by his posts, and I made my peace with Squills on here and by pm. I want Squills back as much as anyone else :(
