Today was my first opportunity all week to get to Sada. Took the 4 youngest children as DH and eldest off on a Father and Son Scout Camp. Ugh, what an awful place Sada is on a Friday tea time, especially with a couple of toddlers! It's a bit of a trek, about 40 minutes round trip but I haven't had any crisps for lunch boxes in a while and had some Walkers vouchers from a complaint so thought it silly not to go.
Wished I hadnt bothered! Some booger had cleared the place out! No Carribean Lucozade, no steak Walkers, no pineapple Activias. Not even any whoopsies left unless you wanted corn on the cob! So come on, who wants to own up to ram raiding Basingst0ke Sada?

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

Now now petite toes, dont think of it as competing with Mildred, think of it as, how should I put it, complementing her ;)

Right DM, don't try and squeeze any of yours in but I'm just going upstairs to do a bit now. ;)

I will be back later so behave yourselves. :)

i am sorry but i cannot keep quiet any longer on this one, i honestly cannot believe you are asking such a stupid yet very personal and sensitive question like this!
You clearly know that this lady is unwell and only has a limited time to live yet you feel the need to "ask the audience" on when and how often you should take your children whom she adores and dotes on to see her.
Personally,i think yes you are being selfish and i think it is the least you can do.
I shudder at the thought of myself being diagnosed with a life threatening illness and one of my kids even thinking it, let alone asking on an open forum as to when and how often they shoud bring my grandchildren to see me.
Thank you, this really upset me so much earlier that I could not reply. And I'm not overly sensitive either.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Have there been things showing the multibuy today? Could it be a glitch day?
