Still, a stroke is a stroke, minor or not. i am sorry but i cannot keep quiet any longer on this one, i honestly cannot believe you are asking such a stupid yet very personal and sensitive question like this!
You clearly know that this lady is unwell and only has a limited time to live yet you feel the need to "ask the audience" on when and how often you should take your children whom she adores and dotes on to see her.
Personally,i think yes you are being selfish and i think it is the least you can do.
I shudder at the thought of myself being diagnosed with a life threatening illness and one of my kids even thinking it, let alone asking on an open forum as to when and how often they shoud bring my grandchildren to see me.
