I know I don't post often enough and defo don't always 'thank' enough as when I do get a chance to be here it's usually a skim read. I really admire how some of you find the time to share so many finds, as well as so many amusing posts that often brighten up my often difficult and frustrating days looking after my Mum. I'd like to thank you all. :A

I just hope that after next week, when my Mum eventually gets the consultant appointment she's waited far too long for, she can get the op she has needed for months done very soon and can get a little independence back. :cool:

My catch up took a lot longer than expected, I have just been put in contact with someone who may be family that I have no knowledge of due to a separation probably about 70 years ago. :eek: I still don't know if we are or not, there is a lot to look into to find out, but this family shares my somewhat unusual surname that I have never had any knowledge of, and other facts that are beginning to tie in. It is the name I have passed down to my son due to me being a lone parent. Wouldn't it be fab if we are related, I don't think i'm going to sleep much thinking about it :j
