Morning all

Went back to Ts last night for some other bits I needed as I was gutted I'd stuffed up my PP challenge shop.
Got it right the second time and am now the proud owner of one half eaten dairy milk bar

Morning all. I might take a little walk out to Tesco for DTD opportunities this morning. I'm after a telly for the bedroom. Wanted to use club card vouchers but there seems to be no way of doing that. So I will go and have a gander and report back.0

Don't know if it's been posted but I picked up some real food brochures today with pictures of strawberries on the front saying Enjoy the Taste of Summer and there were 3 money off coupons inside.
75p off when you spend £3 on fresh salad
£1 off when you spend £4 or more on fresh fruit
75p off when you spend £3 or more on fresh vegetables
Nice to have money off coupons for something healthy for a change.
I searched my store high and low for these yesterday and couldn't find them
Last time someone mentioned the finest leaflet my store didn't have that either but it appeared in the real food mag at the end of the month.
I'm hoping this appears by then

I have that  never been charged as only used it a couple of times to try it out and never hit any banners but these apps have permission to move lodgers in and sell your house if needed oh and a claim on future pensions :eek:The wife and I just went over our finances with a fine tooth comb and noticed our vodafone bill was higher than expected. Well it was actually very close to what our bill is usually but we SHOULD have been benefitting from a 20% discount and we thought it odd we wern't seeing the discount yet
So we dug out all the contract paperwork detailing the discount and its timing, found all emails keeping us informed of status/timescales, signed up to view our online bills and what did we find......?
A bloomin' £4.50 weekly charge from a bloomin' ringtone company in France that we never signed up to but have been paying for 2 months!!!!!!
The best we can figure it out is my phone has a lot of free apps on it that are sponsored by advertising. We think my 2 year old has hit a banner on one of these apps whilst playing unsupervised on my phone and that evidently is enough to subscribe to the charges
There is no recourse for us. The fault is mine for letting her play on the phone unsupervised, for ignoring the "reminder" texts I got that told me I was subscribed to the service (I thought if I replied "Stop" that this would in fact charge me and that the best thing to do was ignore) and for not checking my bills until now
It seems to be a torch app called Flashlight that is at the root of this. The annoying thing is I don't even use the app because if I ever need a torch I just switch to video camera mode and put on the flash

On the plus side, we are getting the 20% discount we were expecting. We just couldn't see it because this subscription was cancelling it outWhen The Fun Stops Stop

Was it Jamster same happened with my eldest £10 credit wiped overnight :eek:Every text they sent cost him money he never actually downloaded a ringtone :eek:Not good but at least you can now put a stop to it. I think it is totally wrong how easy it is to sign up to something.
My youngest was online years ago, and signed up to something by putting her mobile number in, luckily just a PAYG phone but she lost all her credit nearly £10 in couple of hours. A hard lesson to learn.
Thing was it was not obvious what you were signing up for as all terms and conditions were on different page and to be honest it did look like she was getting something for free the way it was worded. When The Fun Stops Stop

Hope you cut it up first frequent :rotfl:Life has a habit of throwing up challenges.
Last night my wife saved my life.
Some beef chocked me, after 2 attemped back slaps I was still chocking.
After the 3rd attempt, along with me sticking my fingers down my throat to try and pull out the beef, I could breathe again.
The previous 2 attempts only pushed the meat further down.
Life is to short and uncertain for stressing over, in comparison to Logies situation.
Have a large bruise on my back, still don't feel right, head hurts and eating is very uncomfortable.
Takes a large slice of humble pie.
