I find it the most relaxing thing in the world. And very rewarding.....yes, it does grow on you. What I love is that there's always something new to learn. My brain constantly needs to be learning and gardening suits that well :)

You spoke the other night about being germ free and how you obsess about it. Are you ok in the garden FC- cleaning vegetables etc

Yep, I noticed that as I am getting a bit old, and seen as you are all wise (and a lot younger), I thought I'd better make it a bit shorter (like myself) and more to the point..

How long you away from us for Dumpy?
You are a lucky bunch (and so am I), I'll be away for two whole weeks. Fly out from Gatwick very early on Saturday morning.

Probably take a tablet or two and pay for internet access at the hotel so will possibly post the occasional insult whilst I am away..:D:D

yes I don't get bothered by dirt or anything like that. It's more germs in places. Like public toilets, door handles, trolley handles, GP surgery. I don't see the garden as being a place where germs spread ( just the opposite in fact!) I do have a reason I feel that way, too long a story for a late night, but it's people spread germs that I have a bit if a phobia about :o
