Sorry to bring it up again all but re the Gala comp I entered can I just assure you all I am a member and I have not been cheating and if you read such comments they are false!

I have just had a few ladies commenting about me on Gala page suggesting I wasn't even a member and that I have got friends to make duplicate accounts to vote and basically bullying me! I will not tolerate bullying whether in cyber space or real life and so would just like to make clear to those of you who have voted for me I am not a cheat! Just because I am winning all the regular players seem to have taken against me and are not happy that I am winning! I truly am gutted to discover this type of bullying in what I thought was a friendly competition! I am just so upset and cross right now! Sorry again for the 2nd rant of the day! :(

Ive noticed that alot of these FB comps where people win on most likes etc can get extremely nasty:eek:...I have voted on a few for friends on FB and Ive seen a few get out of hand like this :( Dont worry, no one here thinks you're cheating. It just sadly seems to be the way these things go. Try not to let it get to you, It's usually what these people want.

Maybe there are some moderators you could complain to? Whatever the environment, bullying of any kind shouldn't be tolerated.

Totally off topic here but ds1 wants to go o Lego land and stay in ll hotel we can do 16/06 next month but will have to travel down and back a day either side. So here the big request does any1 know a way to save some money on the ll hotel stay as 2 days in the park and 1 night in hotel are £346. Have sort of now said we could stay in hotel but just never thought it would be that much. OMG. Nearly fainted.
There is 2 adults 2 kids n 1 infant going. Need to sort it ASAP for dh to book time off to do it.

The Sun are doing free Legoland tickets, I know it's a pain but it's only £4 and you might strike lucky on the date...if you can be a bit flexible so much the better. I did Thorpe Park last year and got Saturday tickets which surprised me, I thought they would only give out mid week freebies. If you get them and they're no good you could always sell them/pass them onto someone else. Just a thought. :)
Spent a night in a cell once, I'm sure nobody is remotely interested

Au contraire, please tell all ;)

Absolutely agree scamps. Id be a least confiscating it for a good while anyway. Gadget/TV time/computer time removal is always my first line of punishment because sadly they're the things that hurt the most. Being grounded with none of the usual entertainment is as far as Ive had to go thankfully

It's always a difficult position to be in. I had 3 kids and my wife had 1.
No matter what you do there's gonna be conflict, you love your kids more than mine sort of thing, or you treat them differently.
I had the most uproar with mine saying they wanted to live with me rather than their mother, and they did for 2 years, and then 1 by 1 they went back (cos of rules) (mother let them stay up late and sorts)
All in all, It's what you think, is the best way to bring up a child, NOT my way or the highway, but the love you feel. And if that means you have to be cruel to them sometimes, xbox gone, phone gone, anything their looking forward to gone, then it has to be done.
Sorry if I seem to be ranting, but I've had this experience, and my kids have all gone on to be ok.

Had a lovely evening with DD and her friend. Her 4 closest girlfriends have been great over the last 2 months supporting her in getting better. We went to the doctor today and she thinks she is progressing. She is awaiting a letter about Cognitive Analytical Therapy which will last 3 months. Her friend came for t and then as it was a lovely evening I mowed 3 of my lawns ( they are quite small) and then cleaned the paths.
Tommorow DD and I are off for a visit to the Bath Spa as we have free tickets for a 2 hour session.
Logie glad you are feeling more positive and Lutzie what a terrible time you had
