    Hi all,

    Well the results are in.....

Scan showed no active cancer :D

However, a large tumour that they have renamed 'scar tissue' remains. If it stays there at that size there is a fair chance of the Hodgkins relapsing :( The only way to reduce the tumour now is with radiotherapy which will significantly increase my risk of breast cancer :( There was a big meeting this morning discussing my case and my consultant and the 'experts' couldn't agree on the best course of action, so they have left it up to me to decide  They are arranging an appointment for me to discuss pros/cons and statistics to help with my choice.

I should really be concentrating on the fact that the cancer has gone but am struggling to celebrate at the moment. Such a big

Was really hoping to be put it all behind us but it seems i'm not at the finish line yet. Must plod on though.

Thanks for all of your support :A

Haven't been on much lately as computer has been playing up and things going on in RL, but had to come on today to see how you got on today logie.
Crack open your champagne and celebrate the active cancer being gone. You deserve a celebration.
Leave the decision about the radiotherapy until after you've spoken to the consultants and heard all your options.
So pleased the active cancer has gone. Huge hugs Caz x

I've been busy with RL but kept checking for an update from you. As others have said much more eloquently, well done for the "no active cancer"! Such amazing news and I am truly thrilled for you and your family. I know it's not the hoped-for finished news you wanted but its baby steps to your full and complete recovery. Raising a glass to you sweetie pie :A xx

Will be back later to see how My Dotty got on in the garden today planting out his 14 trays of plants. ;)

Was thinking about this using cc points http://www.tesco.com/direct/la-hacienda-steelcast-iron-chimenea-black-large/209-4272.prd
Thought it was a bargain but by all accounts the cast iron part is the feet and a collar on the chimmney
I am not going to pay for an expensive one so will keep looking and if no others pop up will be this one ;)

Anyone have any ideas for a song / rap with lyrics about a monster suitable for age 10/11 or adaptable for that age?

Because you have to wait a day for msm to pick it up. Even tho it shows the price, it won't compare at that price till a day after the offer starts.
Could be good for tomorrow still then Trouty :)

I have no idea about all this, but if it was me and it would significantly increase testicular cancer say. I would be doing it no probs, if push comes to shove chop them off (with sedation obviously)more important things in life ;)
and if any of this has come across the wrong way it was not meant to.

To be fair I was thinking exactly this when I read your first post, Logie.

Is this an option? If it is, given the recent publicity of AG, I'd go with that option. Good luck, girl - kick its budt! :A:A

Well, I must be as thick as two short planks! I've registered with Gala and eposited £10 but I'm b******* if I can see how to actually play. I seem to have lost £3.50 somewhere but I can't now access the page for buying tickets and the Help key is not helping me at all ! I can see the Bingo schedule but when I try to select one of the games on the schedule I'm not getting anywhere to buy tickets. I've just got some daft prat calling out numbers but I'm not actually in a game so far as I can see. What am I doing wrong ?
