Good (late) morning all!

Just made a lucky phone call. I remembered by chance that I was owed some wine from uswitch.com for switching fuel tariffs last year. Actually I just switched from one EDF tariff to another but you still qualify for the Uswitch incentive.

At the time they send you an email saying you'll get the free wine code sent to you within 4 months, so it's easy to forget.

Which I did

Anyway, one quick call to Uswitch got me the code and I'm now £40/ 6 bottles of wine better off :beer::beer::beer:

Had a lovely day yesterday. I was getting really fed up with my lack of clothes to fit with the weight put on while being ill and the tamoxifen helping to keep it on. I have been meaning to give a personal shopper a whirl and finally booked a session with lady from Debs in Harrogate (met her in the lift on Saturday so it was meant to be). No pressure ...... lady talks to you about what you are looking for, talks about sizes etc. Then you have a tea and a cake in restaurant for 20 minutes or so whilst she goes around the store picking items for you. She came back with a whole rail of possibilities - really nice selection. She kept zipping downstairs saying oh we need to go up a size in that one/or down a size in that one (think weeble wobble small on top but wider on bottom). There was no way I'd have had the stamina or stock knowledge. At the end of the session you decide what if anything you want to keep - no pressure. Was good as it was an up to 25% off day and the maxi dresses were half price for that day only so added bonus. Luckily read a newspaper from Monday saying this summer going to be like last - so made sure I went for separates and mix and match and a couple of woollies and jackets.:D I now have a camouflaged belly . She was a really lovely lady and got a kick out of helping me select the outfits with things I wouldn't have thought of. She also gave me a gift bag with lots of elemis samples and perfume samples. So ladies and gentlemen I can thoroughly recommend! I just need the OH to take me out now .....

So used up a bit more of redundancy money - not so much left now, but its gone much farther then I thought thank god for here.:T

Got a mammogram appt for this Friday afternoon the first one since all the treatment - nothing about a feedback appt though :T. Its good as I was beginning to think they had forgotten me. Just need my stamina returning and I can get back on track - almost there and mojo slowly returning....

Not a lot I think, Ambrosia Rice (both sorts) and Custard (low fat only) are scanning at 25p in Ts.

Well that's it all caught up, think I will make porridge as well, good idea, just have to force myself back to the desk, going to see if I can get it all done in 90 mins, setting deadlines are good for motivation.

OH seems to be hurtling towards Wolverhampton so he won't be back for a while.

Just had a nice quick phone call from eldest son, I don't think I am allowed to say where he is as it might be a security issue but he was in a car park outside a royal residence, just about to go in to do an assessment :T It looks like he might not get any leave now, his course finishes in about a week and he might then be put on the plane next day and sent home - he has very little Internet and won't let me write so we've hardly heard from him in the last 2 months.

He says he actually prefers the English rain and is not relishing going back to 28 and 29 degrees and no rain for months :eek:

All on my lonesome now for a few days, my wife is off up country with work for a couple of days then flying out to see her ma.
