    Similar problem

Just wondering if sainsbobs have boots gift cards - I am thinking of getting a boots gift card using nectar points.

Don't worry TM you are not the only one. I just can't justify expanding my stash if I have to pay £4 out on something to get started with £5 voucher (and no SS tills). I do still have a few foundations I paid 10p each for from Superdrug last year so I have been telling myself to step away. ;)

It's also knowing I have a whole Boots stash of pressies and dozen bottles of Sainsbob bubble baths round mum's to fit in here yet. Not to mention the 90% off electricals from Ts ie hairdryers and straighteners.

The thought of it all has made me sit up a bit straight about my shopping habit. :o

I battle with some of this stuff in my head most days. The obsession is one thing and greed is another.( this is my greed no one else's. don't mean to offend anyone:o) but I have to really stop myself and ask whether I really need the item and will it keep/store or am I just being obsessive/ greedy.

I enjoyed last weekend. I spent less time shopping and more time baking. I find being creative, doing something with my hands, something worthwhile and less materialistic very cathartic:)

  • 750 CC points for £60 spend @ T wines, code not widely broadcast just yet PM me if you want it they do sometimes have finite number of uses but this one is generic. Quidco 3% (I'm finding TCB doesn't pay anything on T Wines with extra points codes but Q does).

Been loving the Boots thread on grabbit.

So pleased so many of the elite have benefitted. I've been unable to escape work to take part.......green with envy.......:p

Big hi to all. hugs to anyone in need and congrats to anyone celebrating.

Got to agree TM. I read the thread when the glitch was first noticed but did not seem such a great deal. Developments over the last couple of days however, have shown this is a really good glitch.

I just could not resist once I realised I could get £3 off my shopping if I bought 1 glitchy item and used both the SS voucher and manned till vouchers. I'm popping back there again tomorrow to stock up.

Granted I did have to spend £4 on a manned till initially to get some of the No7 Mocs but I needed to buy some vitamins which are on 3 for 2 in Boots at the moment and I had a £1 off a £5 spend on healthcare voucher from the boots card machine.

I've had a good day shopping and I'm a happy bunny.

I used some of the SSM MOCs in Sainsburys. Got £4 off a £20(ish) spend and a BM for £9.39 back. The best deal was on Fairy Platinum All in One Dishwasher Tablets Lemon (20). They are £9 in S but £3 in As and I had a MOC for £1.50 off.

Gotta go but wishing you all lots of fun on the evening/night shift.

Cue Freddie Mercury leader of the universe lol.

As feared 20YO nephew gave a bit of a scare report shocked no doubt to see his gran unwell but m'dear wife's not too daft as a result just waiting for her bro to tell her how bad it really is, I think it will be a few days before anybody knows anyway and by then she can see for herself as she'll be out there.
