Girls want to talk and for someone to listen and sympathise.
Guys only talk of they want someone to fix it.
Trying to fix a gals problems is counterproductive. Once said gal has calmed down she'll already have a fix and you just have to agree.
The skill is in making her think that the problem is the thing you thought was the problem that you were trying to fix that she's now going to find a fix for without making her think that it was your idea.

Oh and the holding her and talking thing. Good idea. Especially in the dark, if you can get alone in a car and drive somewhere private... All good deals are made in the dark, in the backseat, although maybe not in a mk1 fiesta :-/0

If anyone is up and happens to see this, there are dresses in the Debenhams sale appearing as 3p on their website (plus free delivery). It has been posted on 10 ways but go through google and there are some still available. Just click on women and then dresses, then order from low to high price.
Not all sizes available but amazing if they honour it. And if not, maybe we'll all get a voucher as an apology. I'm off back to bed, happy hunting
