I've been out all day and in the meantime a new thread starts
Early Friday morning someone had a bright idea for a sainsbobs brand match potential shop using various super savy and other mocs.
Did anyone manage this shop and if so did it work?
Time to start reading back, see you later on“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Think I may have a saunter to tecsos tonight, see if there is anything to buy.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Also, another question for the evening crew, if I had $100 and wanted to turn it into euros, would I be better off doing it when in europe, or doing it in the UK (just I am thinking if I do it in the UK, I will have to first pay to convert it to £, and then again to change it into euro).
Many thanks. Mr. Bilge.
Personally I would pop down T's exchange booth when they are not busy and ask very nicely. can't see why you should have to convert it first. If they try to make a charge I'd just hang on to it till I next went to Europe. Of course, if you want to get rid of it I'm off to Frankfurt in a couple of weeks, all donations gratefully receivedWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Haven't returned any GTA-V, but did return a batch of Black Ops pre-orders and got the £5 refunded on each. Went into store the day of release and they had (sadly) run out of copies. As they couldn't honour the original promotion they offered the £5 refund - no points were deducted. Don't have any GTA-V, but if I did I would have a go at saying offer not fulfilled and asking for a refund - think you have a good chance of getting the fiver and retaining the points. BUT, T can be a law unto themselves as far as deducting points is concerned, so there may be a risk of losing the 500cc.

They don't really make this one sound good http://www.bargaincrazy.com/electrical/refurbished-computing/packard-bell-imedia-s-intel-celeron-desktop-in-black
but it includes a good 20" screen worth £80-90. [We already bought this last time round with a £50 off code & TCB/ Quidco].
Any day now a decent money off code will pop up and it'll be first movers get the goolies. Dead happy with the PC, it's 4GB in 1 slot and 1 slot free, we stuck in a spare 2GB RAM and it goes noicely but 4GB x2 would be even better. Experts will say the processor is not superfantastic but I'm telling you it's great, very fast and meets all modern requirements unless you need a big bad gaming computer.
Hope you saw the discussion on Win 8 refurbs last couple days but in short there's a Microsoft classic look fix about to be announced making Win 8 user friendly and what you get with these refurbs is (generally) a brand new PC that some duffer opened & sent back because they didn't like Win 8. But install Classic Shell now & you got yourself a dead good PC whilst waiting for the MS fix.
For this price it's already excellent value given the screen but if you're a gambler [heh heh, who, us?] then wait for a £20 or £50 off code next week, downside being it might disappear in the meantime.
Actually I just did a few dummy transactions and there's only 1 left.
It's pretty good value now with free postage and TCB/Quidco.0 -

No seriously, on my PC the image is fine, did it kind of go big for certain computers?0
