Hi all. Hope you are all well.

I've just found an apg voucher whilst de cluttering and it expired 2 days ago. If I tried using it, would they lock me up and throw away the keys or could I just say I lost it and only recently found it, be kind and let me use it or something? Anyone been in this situation before?

Also, with the Tosco Parioli, what are they like with their printed vouchers? I'm assuming that offer is still ongoing. I've not had chance to catch up on here much, so forgive me if I am being superiorily dumb!

You could try the APG they dont always check the date. Sure I will be scolded for saying that though!
As for Parioli just print nice and clear and they should go through fine. I get 4 or 5 every time I go in.

Good afternoon everyone, thanks for the new thread Naebbirac, lovely pics, makes me long to be back in the Caribbean, don't think I'll ever tire of any of the islands :D

Honestly, nip out for a bike ride, sand down the bathroom ceiling (sounds mad but had to be done unfortunately) and make dinner, and you lot have sneaked in a new thread :rotfl::rotfl:

I ve had my eye test and am buying one pair from the opticians but does anyone have any experience of buying other glasses on line and if so any advice please. I ve heard of speckyfoureyes so I ll go and have a read on there.

Oh and in Asda I saw some of those new bars of Maltesers chocolate in a tub for£1. Saw them in Morissons s for £2.09

There's a thread on MSE giving a list of the companies that do it. I think I last used Goggles4u (something like that). Glasses are very cheap, reasonable quality, and do the job. You do need your PD (pupillary distance), if your optitician won't give you it then you can get a friend to measure it following the instructions on most sites.

Unfortunately I avoid online now that I use varifocals, might try soon though as I now have a spare pair to send in for the measurements.

One tip - make sure that the site you use has a money back guarantee, some don't.
