A bit like my eldest brother, he and his wife are the same age, knew each other all through school (were in the same class), got together as young teens, got engaged at 18, married at 19, still together 28 years later :T
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I met my OH on my first day at primary school. I moved around a bit, but ended up back in the same place. My nan asked me when I was 10 if I had a boyfriend ( as nans do) I said yes, he's called xxxxxxx and Im going to marry him. My nan laughed and my mother choked on her tea:eek::rotfl: and said these exact words ' you will never marry that fish fryers son as long as Im around* acid face*) .......my mother was a snob, my OHs parents were good, hard working folks that ran a chippy.....the rest is history. We did get married, my mum didnt attend, his mum and dad and my dad did. and my mum bless her, just never got involved. go figure
