Yes there is just something really likeable about her. I wish I could be a bit "freer" (sp) in myself and she just seems to give it like she wants it, if you get what I mean?
yes, I know what you mean. I think you are probably younger than me? I used to aspire to look and be like people when I was younger. Never quite felt happy in my own skin, I suppose.......but I've grown into it if that makes sense? ....just be yourself and you'll get there
wow, that was deep:D:rotfl:0 -

Is it another one of those mad ads for that drink from Girders?
I loved that Irn Bru ad, must look that up now in a minute
But no, apparently there was an attempt to launch IrnBru onto the Polish market
Finally, there’s an interesting case of the Scottish soft drink Irn-Bru and the unsuccessful attempt to launch it in Poland with the help of Doda, the most controversial and talked-about Polish celebrity and singer. Surprisngly, the mixture of Irn-Bru’s rare taste, AG Barr’s secret formula and Doda’s sex-appeal did not make this launch a success story.Doda with the bottle of Irn-Bru
Doda is a very smart celebrity who surely is capable of setting new trends with the Polish youngsters, so it is a bit strange that Irn-Bru never became popular in Poland. The product placement of the drink was quite visible in Doda’s video-clips for her major hit singles “Dwie bajki” and “Szansa”.
I suspect that the distribution might have been the main handicap that prevented Irn-Bru from winning its share of the market. It’s also possible that Polish consumers didn’t appreciate Irn-Bru’s strange taste.

zippydooda wrote: »i see your point savvy but as i said other items were about the same price. 7 other items at less than 11p each so as not to confuse i did not include the 10% of 7x about 10p= 7p. did you really want me to include this. it would make my short and concise posts rather more lengthy and make them more confusing for peeps that just want to know a good deal and when to run out for it.
so to make my statement correct i should make my other items compare 10p to 11p which one of them did by the way
Thanks for this (I'm just reading back and catching up a little now).
I wasn't expecting a reply - I was just making a joke about how Sada perhaps suggests it is 10% cheaper but in fact very very many items are the same price as somewhere else (one or other of the rivals, and to get the 10% you have to get all your items vs the same rival). Very clever scheme.
Noticed how T immediately went to the very same price as M on the Raspberry Ripple Mousses. This is not because of price-fixing (in the absence of any hard evidence of that) but because stores watch each other's prices. The stores really do watch their competitors' prices very closely and pricing is strategic. It seems more than coincidence how, whenever an offer is on (and not necessarily a straight 'half price' but a price cut) they all go (at different times) down to the same low. The key is, at that point, when the competitor (whoever it is) is at the low, to buy in A vs that competitor. Often if you buy in T or S and pricematch, you'll find that T or S, and this may be some time later on and not necessarily in response to any price promises, cut their price, in which case it would then have worked out better to have shopped in A (vs the now cut price of T/S) and... 10% off! Of course 'experts' like me also know, from past experience, items on which S or T rarely go down to match A's price on - and therefore what best to buy T/S vs A to get them, on PP/BM, to prices lower than, we suspect, they'd ever willingly go (on the shelf price).
I certainly feel S has watched T increase its price on its Value Stock Cubes. Walked past the Basics Cubes today - last consciously saw them at 10p each some months ago - and they are now 15p. (T increased its price from 10p to 15p recently.) This is of course slightly different from the point that S does not have to match its competitors on its own brands. Some of the basics range is very much more expensive than T or A's equivalent, although a lot of it is the same price as the others. Price parity the order of the day. We need the 10% and the glitches!0 -
