Credit rating questions..

Hi all

I recently checked my credit report and my basic cash account has seemingly removed itself from both equifax and experian. The information was on there a few months ago and i'm just wondering what could of happened between christmas and now?!

Also, being on the electoral roll wasn't showing on my report due to a difference in address format which has now been rectified, but my credit report now show's me moving address a few months ago when the problem was spotted, despite me living there for almost 7 years. I'm wondering could this lower my appeal to creditors as to them i've moved home very recently?

I've contacted the cra's about both, was just hoping to get an earlier answer on here as they'll take ages getting back to me

Also, will opening up another bank account with no over draft facility or credit card, make me look more attractive to lenders as its another "credit account" with green 0's? At the moment its difficult for me to obtain credit and i'm trying to improve my credit report

This wont help you really i dont think... its not a credit account its a current account. You could look around the forums for the advice around catalogues and pre-paid credit cards (but these are for if your credit is in a bad state... so far you have only said about a couple of little reporting issues on your file, not about any bad credit)
