Another possible reason why I got declined for a mortgage

I just checked and halifax are part of LLyods banking group.
When it comes to Llyods i believe I have a CPD (at what level I don't know) on my account which means for some products like loans and mortgages it's a flat out decline.
I managed to get a llyods credit card but every time I do a quotation it comes back as 29.9% which usually means decline.
Does there system link in someway? Don't have an account with halifax.

OP if you provide correct information in the first place you would get an accurate answer. As it is you post many threads with differing information. It's like trying to do a jigsaw.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Who was this debt with ?I checked my credit report to see that Gothia have registered a £179 default on my credit file a few days ago that shows as satisfied? I didn't pay anything because I didn't know about the debt.0

I think you should make another thread about your mortgage issues as there isn't enough at the moment.0
