Natwest help!!!

We currently have a mortgage with natwest and have just signed up to part ex on a new house.
We called natwest to be told best option was to re fix what we currently owe as better rates. This would take 14days to be applied. New rate will be applied on the 18 th may. We fly on holiday on the 20th.
I am to call them on sat the 18th to complete the application. I have called them today to see if a valuation can be instructed now on my new property to be told no..
She then suggested we call on the 18th process everything and they will fax ppw to local branch for us to go in and sign on the Saturday for branch to fax back.
We are worried with the short timescales and our holiday that we are pushing it. Has anyone had paperwork faxed to branch? Has it worked gone well etc......
Thanks

Anyone had ppw faxed to branch?0 -
I used to work for RBS/Natwest (not in the mortgage or branch section though). Sending things to branch was possible, but you had to get the name of someone to send it to before it being sent - things may have changed since as i left about 5 years ago.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
