Spot on Kellogs! You know exactly where I'm coming from, yup, I was shaking when the school phoned me, then I got concerned and decided I was going to pull my youngest out of school for the day when sports day was on, and then I kicked myself up the backside and decided NO..that B owes my kids THIS is what THEY deserve and NO I'm past being scared...sh** I hope I'm up to it...amazing isnt it...all these years on and he still frightens me..BUT thats what he wants and IM NOT LETTING HIM!0 -
Just spoke to the csa, they confirmed my ex has phoned them several times speeking to several different people asking the same questions 'about me' basically trying to find out information about me. They have assured me they now have a big note on my case to be on their guard and absolutely not give out information about me. You'd have thought after all these years that he wouldnt be so obsessed. Sad sad man.0

Good on you! Don't let him win that's what he wants and he thinks that by being aggressive he will do. Call his bluff - even if he does want to see the children for now, I'm sure that the novelty will wear off very soon. It is sad that people like him give all the genuine fathers a bad name.0

Just another update, I got the payment schedule through this morning, 1st payment is a little less than the following payments and about £100 less than Kelloggs estimation, all in all very very quick to sort out. Now lets see if it gets paid!!0

That £100 less is more than likely his pension contriubutions being deducted... hope you get your money0 -

FANTASTIC NEWS!!!! :T :T
Just be on your guard just in case something goes wrong next mont, but if it keeps coming then I am just sooooo happy for your kids - it seems that the CSA in this case have been a positive experience for one PWC, I'm sure that the NRP will disagree though!0 -
Yep, he's not happy
He's now phoned my sons school to say he demands to know when sports day is ...so the school ring me and Im now thinking he's going to be there on sports day. Funny how he's never been to a sports day in his life. He even had the nerve to tell the school the csa have been onto him. !!!!!!??????!!!!
Some parents make me so angry!!!!!
Your situation sounds very similar to mine - my ex (of 6 years) started off with threats to take me to court to see kids (i've never stopped him!) but he never bothered, and wanting details of parents evenings, sports days etc (he got them, but again didn't bother to turn up). When we were together, he'd never been to one, that was my job!! Since he's found a girlfriend (6 months) he's not been in contact with the children (because she doesn't like it!!) but when he phones and DD(6 going on 25)) can't be bothered to speak to him because Tracy Beaker is on - its my fault because i've told her to say that (obviously!!).
I just think that in the future, when the children are old enough, they will know their own minds and they will know who was there for them and he will be a very lonley, bitter old man.
I'm also glad you're telling this board about your positive experience with the CSA - it does work most of the time. I work there and it gets you down when you see all of the negative comments - there are lots of people out there with positive experiences with the CSA, but its the ones with bad stories that bother to tell them!!
Enjoy the extra cash - if it was me, i'd throw that extra penny down the gutter to spite him!!
PM me if you need any info, or just need a rant. Its hard being a single mum with a tos**r for an ex!!0 -
