Default Removed!

Hi All.
I just thought i would put a little post up regarding my ongoing issue i had with Santander about a Default that was applied on to my credit file 2010.
I was never sent a default notice and only found out i had a default on my file when i was refused credit as my credit history has always been A*. I then checked my file and noticed that it was applied.
After having several phone calls, complaint letters and correspondence requests, it was FINALLY removed which was a huge weight of my shoulders. :j :j :j
Just thought that i would post my success story to give you all faith that it can happen ONLY if you have a leg to stand on and have all your documentation to hand as they will try their utmost hardest to not remove it and say you are to stick with it.

Yes.
On top of me having documentation to back up my story and having had wrong information given to me by a Santander employee, i think also luck may have been a big part as you may know getting a default removed in most cases is like trying to get blood out of a stone.
ONLY if you had never had a notice and stick to it, then that could be a start to your huge battle.
Remember it took me 3 years to get it removed so in saying that one of the reasons could have been that also i had served half of my sentence in a way.
The main thing is to have all documentation in hand and for backup as you may need it.
The fact that their system could not locate a copy of the default notice which i requested, was the thing that got it sorted along with wrong info being given to me by their employees over the years.
I do hope this is some help for anyone who maybe in the same situation i was in..0
