My OH would look a million dollars wearing a bin liner. Not that she does :)

    My partner is absolutely stunning.

I, on the other hand, am not.

I do wonder whether she needs sight surgery but I fear once she regains 20/20 vision she'll run screaming, so I tend not to recommend it.

I think my Lovely is beautiful, and I regularly tell her so.

It's a bit complicated. I met her when she was eleven and I was twenty one the day her Mum married my Uncle (hence my signature :D). She had a very obvious crush on me from the moment she first saw me although I have never worked out why. I thought she was pretty, but not in a sexual way IYSWIM.

As the years passed we became close friends, and not long after I realised I was slowly falling in love with her. By then I thought she was beautiful on the inside as well as good looking on the outside.
We started dating when she was seventeen, although everyone that knew us couldn't understand why it had taken so long.

She tells me regularly that she never ever stopped having a crush on me, and effectively she fell in love with me at first sight before she got to know me.

I think she is better looking now than when we first started dating, not that it matters to me in the slightest. She is still the young girl I fell in love with and I will always think of her that way. Whenever we pass I always touch her, and stop her at annoyingly regular intervals for a snog. :D

She is now forty nine and we have been married for nearly thirty bliss filled years.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

    ...or not???

How do you feel about your OHs looks? Is he/she the most good looking/gorgeous person you've ever clapped eyes on? Or do you only think 'wow' when they dress up for a night out?

And how does your OH make you feel about yourself and your looks? Do they make you feel like you're one in a million? Or you're a 'Plain Jane/John' who wouldn't stand out in a crowd?

I do realise that looks aren't everything and you should never judge a book by it's cover, but I'm curious as to how others think!!

    :)

My ex husband was a real looker when he was younger, he also made me feel like the only woman in the world. We had a real connection & spark for nearly 20 years.

My current BF, doesn't make me feel like I'm the only woman in the world, he's very flattering, but doesn't make me feel like I'm the only woman in the world for him.

    Its strange to describe.

My first husband was a plonker! Who is after every woman in the world!:rotfl:

In my opinion, Mrs G isn't too shabby.

    Quietly understated. ;)

  • Objectively I couldn't say my new OH is classically handsome and he has his dodgy bits, he's probably at the nice end of average looking really.

But I think he's adorable - he has a really cute nose, a lovely smile that lights his whole face up, and twinkly blue eyes. Add the very fit bod due to playing lots of sport, and I fancied him the moment I laid eyes on him!

My OH is gorgeous, he's from Portugal and very romantic and is always complimenting me, you need that spark and it's still there 11 years later, I feel very lucky to have found him.

I think my OH is very good looking, however after you get to know someone and how lovely their personality is I think you see it all over their face.
The laughter lines around their eyes, The little freckles around the nose that get darker with the insistence of beer in the garden at the hint of sunshine, The glasses with little flecks because he forgets to clean them.
    Things like that. :)
